Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of wCard.io, our mobile app and related services, provided by Wcard Technology Private Limited, New Delhi, India ("wCard.io", "we" or "us"). By using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. The service

wCard.io lets you create, manage and share digital business cards, including through links, QR codes, NFC tags and wallet passes. We may change or improve features over time.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. You must give accurate details, keep your login details safe, and tell us straight away about any unauthorised use. If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

3. Your content

You own the content you add. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, adapt and display it, only as needed to provide the service. You confirm that you have the rights to share it, including other people's personal data. Anything you publish on a card is public.

We may remove content or disable a card if it breaks these terms or the law.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break it. You must not use the service for anything unlawful, to send spam, to access accounts without permission, to disrupt the service, or to collect data by automated means unless we allow it.

5. Plans, payments and cancellation

• Prices and billing periods are shown before you buy. Taxes may apply.
• Subscriptions with recurring payment renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Other paid plans end on their expiry date unless you renew them.
• You can cancel a subscription in Account Settings. Paid features continue until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting your account may not cancel a subscription automatically.
• If a plan ends, paid features may stop and cards that depend on them may be disabled.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. AI features

Some features use AI to suggest text or rate enquiries. AI output can be wrong, so check it before you rely on it or publish it. You are responsible for what you choose to use.

7. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the service, including its software, design and branding. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission, except as needed to use the service.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. If you collect other people's data through your card, you are responsible for how you use it.

9. Resellers and white-label platforms

• Resellers may customise and rebrand the platform for their own business. They may not use the wCard.io name, logo, screenshots or other branding without our written permission, which can set its scope and duration.
• Resellers are responsible for their platforms and customers, including their terms, privacy policy, legal basis for personal data and responses to privacy requests.
• We process personal data on a reseller's platform on the reseller's behalf, as described in section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
• When a reseller's subscription ends, the reseller has 30 days to export its platform's data, after which we delete it.
• We may end a white-label arrangement if a reseller breaks these terms.

10. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or your legal rights as a consumer.

12. Indemnity

If you use the service for business, you agree to cover claims and costs that arise from your content or from your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.

13. Ending these terms

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that create legal or security risks.

14. Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. For important changes, we will also tell existing users by email or in the service at least 14 days before they take effect, unless they are needed sooner for legal reasons or relate to new features. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this doesn't remove any mandatory rights in the country where you live, including the right to bring a claim there.

16. General

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms and the policies they link to are the whole agreement between us about the service.
